My family and I love Lau food so we had to try Mae Sai Thai in Temecula Ca. Not many Thai restaurants serve Lau and Mae Sai serves some Lau dishes . Lau is different from the Thai food we’ve had before. Lau has so much flavor in their dishes! I love the fried Basil that was in my dish. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the dish, but it had ground pork with fried basil, some onion and green beans all in a savory sauce. Then they add a fried egg on top of the rice. It was so delicious. My daughter had the Penang curry with chicken which she said was a little sweet for her. My hubby had the Larb chicken and he loved it!! He said it was one of the best he’s had! We will definitely be back to try more dishes on the menu. I almost forgot! We also had some Thai tea too. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of them but they were good too. The service was great! The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. So If you ever get the chance to try Lau or Thai food then I would suggest trying Mae Sai Thai in Temecula Ca. You just might end up liking it too.

Cutest vibes, an inviting patio space with tables and family owned. The menu is also expansive and they have the lesser known favorites like boat noodles, crispy pork with Chinese broccoli and the beef salad. It was all delicious. Will stop here again.
This has become my fave place to eat in our area for Thai food. There are some items that are not typically on some of the Thai restaurant menus which makes it so unique. We came in before and had their boat noodles. Totally loved and tasted like i was getting a bowl back in Thailand. There are moments where it also felt like I was at home and my mom just served me my curry or noodles. This is comfort food for us.
The best Thai food I’ve had in awhile and they were able to let me know how it would be veganized. Had lots of levels of spicy and it was flavorful spicy—not burn your tongue spicy. Even mild was flavorful without spice. Service was so quick and clear. What a gem of a restaurant! I wish every Thai restaurant tasted like this.

We loved the Thai restaurant that this one replaced but stopped going due to high prices and small portion sizes. We were excited to try this new restaurant. The inside really brightened up with vibrant colors and attractive decorations. The menu is excellent with prices that are very reasonable and most importantly; the flavors were outstanding. All of our dishes were fresh and colorful, generous portion sizes, and the spice levels were impressive. I love that this restaurant caters to vegetarians and vegans as well. We found our new favorite Thai restaurant!
Tried food here for the first time and I can tell this is authentic Thai food with quality food ingredients like I would buy cherry tomatoes or quality rice and cook this at home. The Beef salad taste is just perfect. So glad I found this place. Will be regular customer. One recommendation for to go order: The paper packaging is good, the only problem is it spills the food sauce / gravy all over the bag. Maybe change to paper or other container that can hold liquid better. (Maybe tape it?) If the plastic leak it will go all over my car.
